Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary warehouse environment, including restrooms, break rooms, and shopping areas. This involves sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash cans, and ensuring proper hygiene standards are met.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery, following established procedures and checklists.
• Identify and address minor repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, and resolving minor plumbing or electrical issues. (For complex repairs, you'll escalate the issue to qualified technicians.)
• Assist with maintaining the warehouse's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, reporting any potential problems.
• Participate in safety inspections and ensure adherence to all safety protocols within the warehouse.
• Assist with moving and rearranging merchandise and displays as needed.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, providing excellent customer service to members and warehouse staff.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs completed, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a maintenance or facilities role (not mandatory, but a plus).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong work ethic with a proactive and reliable approach.
• Ability to lift and carry moderate weights (up to 50 lbs).
